This was going to be the original scratch show title. Losing my timing in all sorts of ways relating to ageing, conforming, inappropriateness of behaviour, failing etc. Starting out as a promenade performance it quickly evolved The 'losing ' would be enacted in different areas of the Live Theatre, and videoed , as a live recording or pre-recorded video and projected to the theatre audience. At some point I would turn up on stage and continue the performance. I photographed all the potential areas of Live Theatre with Jo, my daughter, who after some lengthy discussion, persuaded me this was an idea for another project. " I like the whole world is a stage thing- we’re always performing ,but you don't have much time so go with your strengths and stick with what you know". She's such a wise owl.
